HANDLEMANPresident, Heliotronics, Inc. Mr. Handleman received his B.A. in Physics at Washington University in 1984 and his M.S. in Physics from Purdue University in 1986. He spent 7 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory working with radar systems, ultra high-speed data acquisition systems, and development and testing of CCD based sampled analog computing devices. Since
the end of 1994, Mr. Handleman has been working in the grid-tied photovoltaic
industry, primarily focused on data acquisition systems and power electronics.
Prior to starting Heliotronics, Mr. Handleman worked at Ascension Technology. PAUL
H. WILLIAMS, P.E. Vice-President Engineering, Heliotronics, Inc. Mr. Williams received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1984 and his M.E. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1987. He spent 7 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory working with digital, analog, radio frequency, and microwave circuit designs for radar systems and high-reliability satellite communications systems. Prior to working at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, he worked at Harris RF Communications designing base stations for cellular telephone systems as well as at General Electrical Medical Systems working on magnetic resonant imaging systems. Before helping to start Heliotronics, he was a development engineer at Control Resources, Inc. designing fan speed controllers and alarms. Here he learned how to design quality products that were also easy and inexpensive to manufacture and test. ![]() MATTHEW J. ARNER Manager of Business Development, Heliotronics, Inc. Mr. Arner received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1998. After working two years for Accenture Consulting as a management consultant to large industrial clients, he attended the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and completed his M.A. in Sustainable International Development in 2002. Having developed an interest in renewable energy, Mr. Arner worked in Kathmandu, Nepal as a Business Development Consultant with Wisdom Light Group, a solar photovoltaic manufacturer delivering solar electric systems to the rural areas of the Himalayan region. After returning to the United States, he joined Heliotronics as Manager of Business Development. Mr. Arner is also a member of the Fenway Solar Energy Committee. |
